In my day, I remember when vaginas didn’t have teeth and we had to walk 10 miles, barefoot, in the snow, uphill, both ways, just to find one.

1. I taught myself guitar more than ten years ago after watching my grandfather play some old country music songs when I was much younger. He inspired my love for music and I still have his old guitar and several others. I played music with several other kids in high school just for fun and eventually was a founding member of a once successful metalcore band, Against All Hope, during college at Purdue in 2004. We recorded one EP album and that was about it after I graduated. I can also sing fairly well for a nerd, but will never sell out to American Idol.
2. Besides sitting in front of the computer all day, I enjoy the outdoors and hiking. I’m a hardcore lightweight backpacker and enjoy the backcountry, getting away from comforts of everyday life and just living off the land for about three days until I’m ready to come back and check my email. Mostly the weekend-warrior type, but I could stay out much longer if I had the time.
3. My obsessive-compulsiveness is all too real. I have to meticulously do things in order and won’t be satisfied until it is exactly the way I want it. My clothing is organized by type and color. The food is categorized in the pantry and all labels must face out. And the fridge is no exception. I’m a highly organized person and I feel anxious if something is out of place or not how I want it. I don’t go around turning door handles and counting to myself, but there will come a time for when I lose my mind completely.
4. I’m an underwear model. Not really, I’m just kidding and testing to see if you’re still paying attention. I’m a huge fan of Seinfeld and can quote almost every episode. There is usually something that happens in my everyday life that I can relate back to that show. It was and continues to be, pure genius. I create a lot of my jokes from that style of humor.
5. I’m afraid of snakes and spiders. I don’t necessarily scream like a girl when I see them, they just freak me out and make my skin crawl. Hopefully, I’ll overcome this fear one day, but today is not it.
6. I have aspirations to create my own web design firm one day, but so does every other web designer, so I’ll go ahead and take a number.
7. My first hickie was from my neighbor when I was about 7. She was totally hot.
8. BONUS: (because @bcompton did it and he’s cool.)
   I like to stare into space and imagine what’s out there and what will become of us. Stephen Hawking and Brian Greene are a major inspiration.
